The Council has previously received funding of
£630k from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined
Authority (CPCA) to deliver the outline business case and
preliminary design for A16 Norwood improvement scheme. As that
stage is now complete, a request is to be made to the CPCA to fund
a further £1,567,190 so that the next stage (full business
case and detailed design) can be undertaken. Approval is required
for the contract to be awarded to Milestone to undertake the next
phase of the scheme business case and design. The decision will
only be progressed once funding is granted from the CPCA.
