The Council has previously received funding of £130k from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) to deliver the strategic outline business case for A16 Norwood improvement scheme. Following completion of that stage, the CPCA has now awarded a further £630k so that the next stage is undertaken – outline business case and preliminary design. Approval is required for the contract to be awarded to Skanska to undertake the next phase of the scheme business case.
