The Council has previously received funding of
£319k from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined
Authority (CPCA) to deliver the strategic outline business case for
Eastern Industries access improvement scheme. Now that these stages
are complete, the CPCA is in the process of awarding a further
£531k so that the detailed design and full business case can
be undertaken. The additional funding for the scheme subject to
approval will now total £850k. Approval is required for the
contract to be awarded to Skanska to undertake detailed design and
full business case for the scheme.
