Peterborough's PSPO (Public Spaces Protection
Order) areas have now been in place for two years. When PCC began
levying FPN's via Kingdom Ltd. it was decided to implement a
limited discounted payment period. Currently via Kingdom Ltd. an
offense incurs a financial penalty of £80.00. The proposal is
to raise this to £100.00 which will end the discount period
and align Peterborough with other local authorities. The financial
aspect of the rationale agreed for bringing environmental
enforcement in house has been predicated on fines of
£100.00
