PDF 213 KB Decision: In accordance with the Police Reform and Social responsibility Act 2011 and following consideration of the information submitted to it, the Panel unanimously recommended that the candidate is accepted for the position. The Panel determined that the candidate is likely to maintain effective leadership and strategic decision-making. Members indicated their preference for stability during this period and believe that the candidate is well-suited to ensure this. Members also noted a desire for improved communication between the Constables team and the public/local authorities.
3.	Exclusion of the Public To move “That under Regulation 21 (1)(b) of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2000, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972”
4.	Private Session Panel members to be given the opportunity to discuss the proposed re- appointment and agree their decision and recommendations to the Police and Crime Commissioner.
