Call In of any Cabinet, Cabinet Member or Key Officer Decisions The decision notice for each decision will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision may then be implemented on the expiry of 3 working days after the publication of the decision (not including the date of publication), unless a request for call-in of the decision is received from any two Members of a Scrutiny Committee or Scrutiny Commissions. If a request for call-in of a decision is received, implementation of the decision remains suspended for consideration by the relevant Scrutiny Committee or Commission.

2016 Outcomes for EYFSP and Key Stage 1 Minutes: This paper summarises the 2016 unvalidated assessment results for children who were in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). The results are provisional and are liable to change by the time of final reporting in early 2017.
At the time of writing, no data was available for different groups of children (boys, girls, those with SEN for example) and so no comparison between the performance of groups is possible at this time.

Addendum To The School Organisation Plan (2015-2020) Additional documents:
Minutes: The purpose of this Addendum is to update the committee further to the School Organisation Plan (2015-2020) which was published in December 2015. This Addendum to the School Organisation Plan (2015-2020) describes the 2016 position with regard to school place planning and demography and proposals for expansion of primary and secondary schools.
The School Organisation Plan (2015-2020) was considered by the scrutiny committee in September 2015 and then published in December 2015.

The Peterborough Neglect Strategy and Approaches to Address Neglect in Peterborough Additional documents:
Minutes: This report provides information to Members about the Council and Safeguarding Children Board’s neglect strategies. These have been developed in response to evidence of relatively high numbers of children affected by neglectful parenting in the City.
The development of a Neglect Strategy was also a recommendation from the Ofsted inspection of children’s services in May 2015.
Resolved: The Committee is asked to:
1. Note the contents of the report and the appended Strategy, and 2. To consider requesting a further report on the response to the effectiveness of the Neglect Strategy in 12 months’ time.
