Purpose:
The purpose of this report was to provide the Panel’s second six-monthly review of the work of the Council against the previously agreed Improvement Plan and the recommendations of the independent reports commissioned by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
Decision:
Cabinet considered the report and RESOLVED to:
1. Note the second report of the Independent Improvement and Assurance Panel and agree with the action to be taken as a result.
2. Request that the Growth, Resources and Communities Scrutiny Community reviews the report, Cabinet’s response to it and the progress being made with the delivery of the Improvement Plan.
