Purpose:

Authorise the Delegation to Cambridgeshire County Council to enter into a section 75 agreement with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust for an enhanced falls prevention service across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire for 3 years from 8th Aug 2022, with a total value of £68,730.  

Reasons for the decision:

Greater efficiency given the pre-existing structures within the community falls pathway. 

Alternative options considered:

For CCC and PCC to commission the service separately, however given that the services will generally be provided within the boundaries of Cambridgeshire and PeterboroughLocal Authority areas there are clear efficienciesin having one service across the twoLocal authority areas.
