This report is for the Leader of the Council to consider exercising delegated authority under paragraph 3.2.2 of Part 3 of the constitution in accordance with the terms of their portfolio at paragraph (g).

The Cabinet Member is approved:

1.    The appointments to outside bodies as set out in Appendix 1 to the decision; and

2.    The nominations to outside bodies as set out in Appendix 2 to the decision.

The list of appointments to outside organisation and the list of nominations to outside organisations for 2018/2019 are out of date. Approval of the new lists will ensure that the organisations contained on them are still relevant and appropriate.

Leave the lists as they are – This option was rejected as there is a need to review the lists to ensure they are up to date, relevant and meaningful.
