Issue details

To 'make' the Peakirk Neighbourhood Plan part of the Development Plan.

The decision required is to make the Peakirk Neighbourhood Plan (PNP) part of the Development Plan for Peterborough. This is a formality as the PNP will be subject to a referendum of residents of Peakirk Parish who will decide whether or not they want the PNP to be used in making decisions on planning applications in the area. As it will become part of the Development Plan it requires approval from Full Council, but the options are very limited for the decision. The decision will only be needed if more than 50% of those voting in Peakirk vote for the PNP to be used in planning decisions.
