Save Bretton Water Park

We the undersigned petition the council to Remove the proposal in the Peterborough City Council Budget for 2018-19 to cut the funding for Bretton Water Park. We believe that the proposed saving of £18,000 per year can be met by other savings or budget provisions. We believe that this cut specifically penalises families in Bretton and surrounding areas in Peterborough and that this cut means that residents in Bretton are taking a big hit for the whole of Peterborough. We also believe that the council are taking away what kids love. Kids of all ages enjoy this attraction. With the water park being close to home. In the summer months this water park is heaving. Please do not close this much needed and loved facility for children and families, in these tough times this facility means a lot to local people in Bretton and surrounding areas in the summer.

To Remove the proposal to cut £18,000 funding a year from Peterborough City Council which would mean the closure of Bretton Water Park
