Purpose:

Approval to enter into a Section 256 agreement with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group, for receipt of funding to deliver health support to children and young people and their families

 

Decision:

Authorise the Council to enter into a Section 256 Agreement with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group for receipt of funding relating to health support to children and young people and their families from 2017 to 2020. 

 

Reasons for the decision:

The Section 256 agreement will enable the delivery of a range of services for children, young people and their families, which will be delivered in an integrated way with key partners, thereby improving outcomes for children and young people.

 

Alternative options considered:

To do nothing – this was rejected as the agreement between Peterborough City Council and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG enable to delivery of a wider range of services to children and young people, which will improve outcomes for this group.
